All members of my courses get access to a monthly video call to ask questions, share insights about the material, offer alternative perspectives and generally engage in friendly conversation.
It’s a good way to keep your mind on the course, and to clarify any confusing concepts. Often times, this results in my creating a Q&A video or new piece of content, particularly when I’m hearing a question over and over again.
If there aren’t many questions, I will share what’s been going on in my practice or wax philosophical about some topic in the profession of acupuncture. I am hoping to keep the calls focused on business, practice management, self management and other professional topics. If there is enough interest, I may add a separate monthly call about medical topics.
Know that I will be recording these sessions, so anything you share will be heard by all course members. Definitely do not share your address or other private information nor any identifying information about patients!
When are the upcoming office hours calls happening?
I am in Oregon, Pacific time zone (UTC -7). Here is a time zone converting website for your convenience. I will endeavor to start on time, and may arrive a few minutes earlier. You can come and go as you please, but I will try to keep the call to an hour. If nobody shows within 15 minutes of a given call start time, I’ll assume nobody is coming and close down until the next scheduled time.
September 27 – Thursday – 6pm PST
- No office hours in October (live sessions happening late Oct / early Nov)
- November 29 – Thursday – 6pm PST
- Office hours resume in January, hours to come
- If you have a question you’d like to discuss, we can arrange 10m calls to chat. Just get in touch
Do you have to register? Not necessary – but it is nice!
Use this form to tell me that you’re interested in the upcoming office hours. If you do not register, you can still show up.
How to call into office hours
I’m now using a method for conducting office hours called GoToMeeting. It’s fairly popular among people who do similar work online, and has decent levels of support for all kinds of devices (tablets, phones, computers and even simple call-in options). As with anything there will be inevitable hiccups the first few times we use this software – and if it proves to be too buggy – our quest to find the perfect solution will continue.
Use the information below for the next meeting (and feel free to check out the technological requirements beforehand). This will be updated after each meeting with the information for the next one.

Please join my meeting from your computer, tablet or smartphone.
