Forging a path in a new career is daunting, to say the least. Trying to get your head around marketing can get you spinning! But the thing that usually stops new acupuncturists in their tracks is contemplating the many nuts and bolts in getting a practice going in the first place.
The truth is digging into the details of acupuncture facilities and operations is not only the bedrock on which the rest is built upon, but is also your greatest marketing tool. I refer to the process of figuring out where you’re going to practice and how you’ll go about your day to day as the establishment of your “clinical container.”
It’s in this carefully curated space that you’ll do your great work & build a career that will support you for the rest of your life.
By taking this course, you will:
- Ensure that the place and space you choose for your acupuncture practice supports your most important goals
- Begin to think through the many factors that play into a successful practice space
- Avoid the most common legal and financial pitfalls new business owners encounter when they get started
- Help reduce the overwhelm that can emerge when you start searching for clinic spaces
- Be better prepared to negotiate a good lease or subleasing contract
- Understand how customer service emerges from your vision
- Develop a customer service philosophy that will not just improve the success of your business, but also the potency of your acupuncture treatments

It is certainly not what I expected, particularly given my aversion to the business side of starting an acupuncture clinic. Drawing from many of his teachers and mentors, as well as from his experience running an extremely successful business, he covers a lot of very practical ground, while also emphasizing the need for self-care and deep connection as critical aspects of ones business practice.
